Being the daughter of a Marine and commercial airline pilot, Kris had the opportunity to travel the world at a young age. It was during this time she developed an interest and appreciation for the world of hospitality and although she studied Sports Medicine in college, she realized her true passion was working with people. She managed to parlay this passion into a career, and she hasn’t looked back.

What keeps Kris balanced is her family – proud mom of three, now young-adult children and her husband of 20+ years, as well as their Havanese dog, Don Diego. They all enjoy traveling, cooking and meals together, spending a day at the beach or playing Phase 10. In those rare moments of downtime, Kris loves to read while enjoying a glass of wine or whiskey. Another one of her passions is baseball, although she does not follow a specific team. “It’s not about a team for me; it’s about the strategy of the game,” she said.

Having traveled the world and raising children has helped shape Kris, so it’s not surprising her favorite Guiding Principle is “Do everything with gratitude and humility,” which she embodies on a daily basis.
